Susanne Belovari, Tufts university, Medford, Massachusetts, USA

Goulven Le Brech is currently head of Sciences Po (Paris) Archives Department. He holds a Master of Archival studies of the University of Angiers (2002). From 2006 to 2012 he worked at the Archives Department of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), where he specialized in processing, arranging and describing humanities and social sciences research archives and records.

Hélène Chambefort is head of the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) archives department. She created and developed the archiving policy at Inserm in partnership with the National Archives of France and public institutions and universities working closely with Inserm.
She is also a co-lead of the research archives working group in AURORE section of the French Association of Archivists in which she is fully invested in. Passionate about her profession of archivist and in particular scientific archives , she actively participate in the development of many shared toolkits on subjects such as processing scientific collections, the AMUE archives management guidelines or retention schedules for scientific and research records. She is also involved in archives student training and welcomes every year a several interns in archives at Inserm.

Thérèse Charmasson is curator in chief in archives, working since September 1986 at the Centre for Research in the History of Science and Technology (CRHST) , at the City of Science and Industry (Universcience). Also holding an archivist paleograph and history of medieval civilization PhD, she graduated from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (section IV) Firstly working as a research assistant at the Fourth section of the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes , she then was appointed curator at the National Archives and specifically for the Paris Academy, and ; archives curator and research associate for the history of education service at the National Institute for Educational Research (Paris).

Anna Domalanus, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland

It was during her studies in contemporary history, during which Isabelle Gallois worked on issues of abandonned children and childhood and professional education, that she decides to move towards the collection of historical sources. Holding a master in archives at the University of Angiers, she continued her commitment to education problematics by organizing, processing, arranging and describing the editorial archives of Castor Poche (Flammarion editions) and the Père Castor youth Foundation. After several experiences in project management and ECM in the private sector as well as in the french Ministry of Justice, she chose to return to her main interest, in the history of education, by integrating in 2008 the University Pierre and Marie Curie in order to create its archive department, where she is currently Head of Archives. She works for the description, preservation and access of administrative and scientific records to provide to future historians material on history of Universities, around its various actors : teachers, researchers and students. Currently co-leading the research archives working group in AURORE section of the French Association of Archivists and is now directing its work towards developing communication tools, collection and recovery plans and practical guidelines for univeristies shared research units and platforms .

With a master’s degree in medieval history and archives from the University of Mulhouse, Helene Gay made her first archival mission in the city of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso . Returning in France, she was successively archivist at the DRAC Toulouse, then worked at the preservation service of the National Library of France to finish with the Subway company of Toulouse, city of the south of France. She entered the world of education by creating the archive service at the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole. She then became archivist at the University Paul Valéry in the city of Montpellier in 2007. Since 2010, she assumes her duties as Head of the Archiving Unit of the Academy of Toulouse. Passionate about her job, she participates in sharing and exchanging with members of the AURORE section of the AAF.

Armelle Le Goff graduated from the National School of charters, and is chief curator in archives. Responsible for teaching and research archives atNational Archives, firstly in the XIX century section, then in DECAS (Department for Education culture, and social archives) from 2002 to 2013. From 1990 to 2001 she worked at the archives Centre of Work (WTSA) as heritage curator, deputy director in Roubaix (North). She is also a member of the center for historical and scientific works (CTHS), and is honoris causa from the University of Human Sciences in Moscow (RSUH).

Associate Professor Gavan McCarthy is Director of the University of Melbourne eScholarship Research Centre (2007-) based in the University Library. His research is in the discipline of social and cultural informatics stem with expertise in archival science and a long-standing interest in the history of Australian science. He contributes to research information infrastructure development within the University and his projects highlight strong engagement with community. His distinctive cross-disciplinary research reaches into other fields such as education, social work, population health and history. He re-examines theoretical foundations and tests new theories through practical interventions with a focus on public knowledge domains.

Fabien Oppermann is currently curator in archives. He graduated from the National School of charters, the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes and the National Heritage Institute (INP) , and is leading since 2005 the Archives and cultural heritage mission of both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. He is also a lecturer in archives at the University Paris -Nord Villetaneuse since 2009.

Norman Reid is Head of the Special Collections Division and Assistant Director of Library Services for the University of St Andrews in Scotland. In a career spanning thirty years, he has been also Archivist and Records Manager for Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, and Archivist and Records Manager for the Government of the Cayman Islands. An active member of the archival profession in Scotland, the UK and internationally, he has been involved with ICA-SUV for many years, and indeed delivered a paper at its inaugural seminar in Lancaster in 1994.
By training and instinct a medievalist, he has also maintained an active research interest throughout his career, and has published widely on matters relating both to aspects of Scottish medieval history and to the collections in his care.
