The National Archives preserves and give access to central government and State records and archives (excluding ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs), the minutes of the notaries of Paris and private funds of national interest.

Since 2013, the National Archives of France are in a brand new building with the latest technologies for preserving and accessing to France’s state archives.
The conference’s local committee is very pleased to announce that the National Archives will organise visits of the premises for the conference attendees on afternoon july 7th, 2014.
